Sandhya Shaner has a Masters in Hospital Management, Masters in Human Resource Management & a B.Sc. Hons (Nursing), B. Sc.-Hons Chemistry combined have all lead her to create The Nursing Transformation project is a holistic approach to defining guidelines for nursing career protection and patience welfare assurance. This is coupled with the desire to seek the new challenges and responsible assignments in the Health Care Industry. Sandhya’s experience is attributed to a natural flair for leadership, administration, quality, education and training. With Nursing Excellence at the forefront of her ambitions, Sandhya will lead formulation, implementation and governance of niche, international standards for Nursing in the country. Along with this, the main focus is to see the benchmark standards in the Indian healthcare sector increase along with being Nursing driven, policy formulation and its governance in healthcare.
Nursing Transformation is an initiative in India that Sandhya is heavily involved in. This includes recruitment strategies aimed at mapping out current status by individual channels (cost) along with identifying the key areas of performance & length of stay. Along with this, the pre-recruitment aspect defines sourcing strategies for all channels. Training & Development aspect of this initiative is separated in 2 sections; Training Plan, which focused on the layout of a comprehensive strategy, tenure and a clearly defined process amongst many other areas & Training Execution, which identifies key resources. The Retention – Policy and Process section broadly covers Compensation, Facilities, Career Paths along with Incentives. The remainder of the initiative is dedicated to the implementation and management of Performance metrics.
