She is Global Head of Network Application Operations at Vodafone will join us as a keynote speaker at Keynotion’s upcoming Big Disruption Summit. Angela Maragopoulou is a technologist, a futurist and an established and pioneering data scientist, with an executive career path. She has more than 19 years of Telecommunications Industry Expertise, with achievements in Technology Operations, Enterprise Complex Solution Design, Enterprise Sales and Transformation. She has acted as a Big Data, AI and Advanced Analytics advocate, achieving dramatic adoption and innovative use case approach, for low-cost predictiveness and preventiveness as well as operational excellence. She leads a 300+ team of engineers in 6 locations operating globally the Vodafone IoT, UCC and virtualized services portfolio. The Vodafone IoT growth has put the team into a challenging leadership position of massive industrialization needs but also in an innovation perspective unique globally. In her free time she codes (she especially enjoys Python), follows epochs of strangely training data sets and is a mentor to many young girls. She believes in the Hybrid Human and Augmented Intelligence, as well as a fully meshed world of connected devices.

She considers herself an Augmented Reality advocate and is a celebrated speaker on Data Science, AI and more. She also leads Code Like a Girl in Nord Rhein Westfalen in Germany, training girls in Machine Learning.

Angela is the keynote speaker for connective technologies and shall share her experience and expertise on a wide landscape of IoT, 5G, AR, VR, Mixed Reality, Connected Devices & more. Her stout focus shall be on „IoT and 5G: the Killer App?“, with a deep dive in the following crucial areas:
